It All started with a 172 gallon tank.

I was finally able to finish this smoker!! Has a 2 foot firebox 6 in diameter smoke stack and enough room to do 6 briskets!!

172 gallon tank turned into a smoker!! Well it’s not done yet but I wanted to share the progress of it. So the tank end was cut off and then reused as the fire box. Next we used 1/4″ plate to cap both the main chamber and firebox. The frame was made out of 2″ Sq. tube. Last but not least the doors were cut and hung off of 2 -3″ hinges, with an 1 1/4″ trim around the outside to prevent smoke from escaping.
